This elegant Italian yacht, sailed properly, will leave a lot of the famous French designed yachts in the shade! It is easy to handle and offers you space and comfort. Although production has stopped, you still see a lot of them in the Mediterranean.

Accommodation
The interior of the Comet 1050, with its comfortable corner bench, makes sitting inside more attractive than in the Aloa, which is an advantage in early spring or late autumn. There is a double bed in the fore cabin, a convertible double bed in the saloon plus a single bed on the port bench, and another double bed in the aft cabin. So there is space for up to seven people.
The yacht has a comfortable pantry with a 3-ring gas stove plus oven and a fridge (the fridge works when the boat engine is running). Between the saloon and the fore cabin there is a toilet with shower.
Tip: do not bring hard suitcases but soft luggage bags that can be stowed away easily.

Equipment on board
Tiller, compasses, Garmin GPS, Icom VHF Radio, Autohelm depth sounder and log, basic navigation equipment, maps, binoculars, life jackets and life lines, rescue harnasses and all the basic safety equipment (fire extinguisher/fire blanket). Sailing with the Comet 1050
The Comet 1050 is an elegant yacht of 10.50 m in length and 3.85 in beam. She weighs 5.000 kg.
With its slim, slender line and not too broad aft the vessel has excellent close-to-the-wind sailing qualities, this also because of the excellent proportion between its length and beam.
She is easy to sail and anybody with some knowledge about a yacht of this size will experience her as a supple and amenable yacht.
The Comet 1050 has 60 m2 of sail, divided between the mainsail and furling genoa. She has a Bukh diesel engine of 24 HP.
